What happens after death ?

So far, we don't quite know what happens after you die. Me and Tom set out to see what we could find out about death and the supposed "afterlife".

Scientific:
Energy, this is the key factor for life. Shortly after we die, our bodies become stiff and we lose all energy, where does this energy go? As proved by physics, energy cannot simply disappear! We think that this energy is transfered into the earth / into nature. The energy is then put into a cycle whereby it goes into other living things and they too die.

Religious:
Many different religions believe many different things about what happens after death. Christians believe in a heaven and hell scenario, where after you die, if you've been good your soul will go to heaven and if not then you'll end up in hell. Buddhists believe in re-incarnation which is where, when we die, we come back to life as another living thing, be it a worm or another human being, I'm not 100% sure. Since there are so many different religious beliefs, it leads me to think that either one of them MUST be true or that because there are so many different opinions, none of them are true, and I must say I lean more towards the latter.

Souls, do we have them ?:
A rather unknown concept is that of souls in living things, mainly humans. Me and Tom got together and thought about what these souls are and if they have been mistaken for anything more than what they are. Tom came up with a great theory that a soul is just the energy inside you (See "Scientific" and "Ghosts ?").

Ghosts ?:
Whilst we were on the subject of souls, we dabbled slightly with ghosts, or paranormal activity. We both agreed on a theory that when you die, you leave a high concentration of your energy close to where you died. The sensing of this energy is what people believe to be ghosts. The reason why "ghosts" fade (no pun intended) after time is that the energy that was left in that area has undergone a process called diffusion, whereby the high concentration of energy has spread out to form lots of low concentrations of this humane energy.

That's all for this time folks! Thanks for reading this, we both hope you found in both enjoyable and insightful.

Remember, keep an open mind!

First Post!

Hello, I am Lee Walker. I'm a 15 year old male with an exceptional knack of curiosity. Me and a friend are always questioning things, such as; "why are we here?", "what happens to us after...?", and so on. I've decided to keep a blog on our discussions and from now on I'll be posting each conversation me and him have about these sorts of subjects.

Thank you for reading, have fun and keep an open mind!
